At the PILATES REHAB STUDIO we pride ourselves on not only having a team of health and fitness professionals who have trained at a high level within their industry, but a team who continue to develop and maintain their knowledge every year.
All of our instructors have had their own struggles throughout their life which has led them down the path that they are truly passionate about. This passion shows in our commitment, dedication and motivation and genuine care within our classes and on our videos. We do not see you as a number at the PILATES REHAB STUDIO, but as an individual with your own goals, needs and targets.
Our main aim through the PILATES REHAB STUDIO is to help our customers maintain a young and healthy body. Age is simply a number, if we look after our body in the right way then every year we age, our body will stay a year younger.
Manager, Stott Pilates Trainer, Sport & Remedial Massage Therapist
I have worked within the health and fitness industry for the past 24 years as a Personal Trainer, Pilates Teacher and Class Instructor. I was employed by the YMCA Fitness Industry Training as a Tutor/Assessor, and travelled the country delivering courses to companies and students in subjects such as Aerobics, Aqua Aerobics, Circuit training, Personal Training, Pre and Postnatal Exercise Training and Level 2 Pilates. I left this line of work at the age of 30 to become a mum of 2 children.
I eventually progressed into Sports Rehab and went on to study at the Oxford School of Sports Massage to gain my level 5 Sport and Remedial Massage Qualification. I opened the Body Rehab Clinic in November 2015 offering 1-1 Personal Training, 1-1 Pilates and Sports Massage Therapy. Due to the success of the Body Rehab Clinic, I made the decision to expand the business and open The PILATES REHAB STUDIO.
I first Studied Pilates back in 2004 when I was a Tutor for the YMCA. My passion for Pilates didn’t fully ignite until I had my 2nd child in 2010 and was plagued with a serious back issue. I then began to fully appreciate Pilates, not only how it changed my body shape and strength, but how it helped me rehabilitate after back surgery. I decided to further my Pilates knowledge with Stott Pilates in London and have continued along this path, gaining my Stott Pilates Reformer Qualification.
Pilates has seriously changed my life and my body for the better, and my main ambition now is to help others feel the same.

Stott Pilates Trainer, Fitness Consultant
I began teaching in the fitness industry over 10 years ago, training with the YMCA Fitness Industry Training to become a studio instructor teaching a variety of classes from Aerobics, Spin, Circuit Training, Kettle bells and Cardio Tennis. My career further progressed when I moved heavily into Pilates and Rehabilitation. I love helping people improve their health and fitness but even more so building my client’s confidence to become stronger, leaner and better aligned.
I teach Mat work and studio work to a wide variety of loyal client’s, giving them a structured and encouraging environment in which to learn, and to always give them instructions with appropriate focus. By attending regular workshops, classes and courses, I continue to increase my understanding of movement and human anatomy and develop as a teacher and practitioner of Pilates.
I am also available for private 1-1 Pilates Mat Work and I also teach in other venues around the borough.

Stott Pilates Trainer
My Pilates journey began 8 years ago, when sore knees forced me to give up impact sports. Within 2 months I was hooked.
Retirement meant I had more time for classes and I was fascinated by the improvement in my posture, core strength and flexibility. My body shape, mobility and fitness were so much better and I wanted everyone to feel as good as I did.
Just over a year ago I decided to train as a Stott Pilates instructor.
As an old junior school teacher, I’ve always loved teaching and now I enjoy teaching Pilates to help others improve their strength, flexibility and well being.

Hatha Yoga Trainer
I was fortunate to discover yoga eight years ago after suffering from neck problems, as well as a shoulder injury caused by repetitive strain. I very quickly experienced the many positive physical and mental benefits of yoga practice.
I became a yoga teacher because I felt motivated and inspired to share these wonderful effects with others. I’ve been teaching yoga for two years now, and have loved every minute. My style of teaching is friendly and relaxed, with a bit of humour along the way!

Retiring in 2005 from a 22year career in banking my life was one long round of chronic back pain.
The fear that bending or even getting out of bed could cause back spasms was really debilitating.
Hospitalised after a particularly bad bout then discharged with a walking frame and crutches, I knew something must change …… and It did. From the very firstclass Kelly delivered my Pilates pathway began
That path led me to a life pain free without medication, and ready to face the challenges of the ageing process.
As someone who understands back pain, my desire is to support others to be pain free and enjoy the benefits of a stronger more flexible body.
At 65 I’m classed as an older person I understand the trepidation someone of more mature years may feel at joining a new exercise program. However, Pilates is not age or fitness restricted.
As a client I’ve always felt welcomed and supported at the studio. As a teacher I understand how you feel, my Moto is ….arrive as a stranger leave as a friend we’re on the Pilates path together.

Pilates and Fitness Trainer
In 2003 I had grown into an overweight, tired individual and decided something had to change. I embarked on my 8 stone weight loss journey which led me to a complete career change. I undertook extensive training and fitness courses to qualify as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Specialist in 2006.
In 2009 I decided to gain my REPs Level 3 Pilates qualification with Modern Pilates and continued with developing my Pilates education by qualifying with Body Control Pilates in both mat and reformer work.
In the past 11 years I have developed a close working relationship with the Neurological Rehabilitation specialists Physiofunction and have helped clients with strokes, acquired brain injuries and other neurological conditions attain their physical goals.
“Movement is power and there is power in movement. It enables you to take ownership and control.”
I continue to further my education and have completed bone health specialist and older adult courses as well as looking to do more in the future too.
